Whenever needed, the perimeter road of the Fire Academy is set up as a driving course for Driver/Operator (engineer)Training, as well as for agency promotion assessments. The setup includes the Serpentine Course as well as the Slalom, Steering and Backing Course, as defined in NFPA 1002.
