The Fireflash Trailer shown in the aerial photo has been replaced by the Swede Flashover Simulator shown at the right.

The Swede Survival Flashover Training System provides the opportunity for students to observe fire behavior and to recognize the signs of an impending "flashover." What’s more, they get to safely experience the effects of flashover, while gaining first-hand experience with the proper use and value of personal safety equipment. And all of this takes place in a safe, controlled environment.

Academy trained Fire Control Officers must be present when the simulator is in use.
