Adjunct Instructors of Public Administration (Part Time) –
Barry University's School of Adult and Continuing Education

Description:
Barry University's School of Adult and Continuing Education provides a quality education in a caring environment for the adult student population. In addition to the campus in Miami Shores, we have satellite campuses and points of delivery throughout the state of Florida.

We are currently seeking additional adjuncts for our Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) to add to our roster of contract faculty for assignments on an as needed basis for our off-campus sites at various locations across Florida.

Responsibilities:

Courses are delivered in the classroom, not on-line, and terms are 8 weeks in length. Class times vary, but are generally 4 hours each week in the evenings or on Saturdays. Adjuncts are responsible for collaborating with respective academic coordinators and directors in the development and execution of the course as well as additional responsibilities outlined in the faculty handbook.

Qualifications:
• Completion of a Doctorate in Public Administration required.
• Prior college level teaching experience with the adult student population is highly valued, along with applied experience in the field.
